In-Person Public Tour

Public Tour registration

SLAC offers free on-site public tours. Online registration is required. No phone calls or email requests to register will be accepted. Tours are popular and spaces fill up quickly, so we recommend registering as early as possible. Backpacks are not allowed on-site.

The tour age requirement is 12 years of old and above. For individuals 12 to 17 years old, a parent or a legal guardian must register for them and join the minor for the entire duration of the tour. 

Our web-based registration for in-person tours is available online only. No phone calls or email requests will be taken for tour registration. Public tours are typically offered on the last two Fridays of each month. Registration for our public tours open the first Friday of every month at 9 a.m. Tours are popular and spaces fill up quickly; we recommend registering as early as possible. We look forward to hosting you at SLAC!

In order for SLAC to provide a safe environment for the public and our employees, no handbags or backpacks larger than 12"x6"x12" will be allowed on-site. Exceptions to this policy will be made for all medically necessary items after proper inspection and for SLAC-badged staff. To join a public tour, you are required to follow all protocols and instructions from SLAC staff.
