Carol joined SLAC in 2022 after spending over 10 years as a scientific/technical editor in the materials science world. Her lifelong love of science motivated her to get a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering. She enjoys showcasing the lab’s research accomplishments and people through writing stories and editing lab-level reports and documents. In her leisure time, she unwinds with a good fiction book, hits the gym, spends time with her two- and four-legged family members and works on her bread making skills.
